At 5N2, a diverse group of dedicated volunteers and staff come together with a singular purpose: to provide nutritious meals and offer a hand of hope to the community. Our new campaign, Hands of Hope, shines a light on these incredible individuals and the partners who support our mission.

Our volunteers and staff are the lifeblood of 5N2. Each brings their own story and commitment. From residents who contribute their time and energy to students eager to make a difference, their efforts are about more than just giving food; it’s about giving hope. Whether they are working in our kitchens, stocking our pantries, or cultivating produce at our hydroponic farms, each volunteer plays a crucial role in our mission.

Our hydroponic farms are a testament to innovation and sustainability, providing fresh, locally grown produce for our meals. The dedication of volunteers who manage these farms ensures that our community has access to healthy, nutritious food. Similarly, our pantry volunteers work tirelessly to organize and distribute food, ensuring that everyone in need receives the support they need.

Our mission is bolstered by the support of partners like Second Harvest, Starbucks, and local businesses. These partnerships enable us to access fresh produce, rescue surplus food, and mobilize additional volunteers. Collaborations, such as with Second Harvest, are vital in our efforts to rescue food that would otherwise go to waste, turning it into nutritious meals for our community. Operating primarily on rescued food, we ensure that good food is not wasted but instead goes to those who need it most.

Hands of Hope is a celebration and a call to action. We invite everyone to join us in supporting our volunteers, staff, and partners who tirelessly work to ensure no one goes hungry. Whether through volunteering, donations, or spreading the word, every hand extended in support makes a difference.
