Participate in comprehensive training to develop a base knowledge of 5N2; it’s mission, vision, values and operation
Shadow and provide support to the cook and Food Services Coordinator in preparing meals
Ascertain that sufficient raw materials/ingredients are available for each product to be cooked
Responsible for food preparation, food safety, daily inventory, and metrics
Ensure the integrity of food storage and preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen cleanliness
Pack meals into properly sized trays/boxes
Responsible for the maintenance and sanitation of kitchen equipment and supplies
Responsible for daily production schedules and prep sheets
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, prep areas and the kitchen in general
Dish washing
Follow all food safety guidelines including hand washing, sanitizing, cooling, heating, and storing of product to guard against contamination and assure that all products are safe for consumption
Maintain clean and orderly refrigerators, freezers, loading dock and pantry area

Experience working in a commercial kitchen
Pursued a culinary program (ideal for candidates who pursue a career in culinary school)
3-5 years of industry experience
Must be extremely organized and professional
Possesses a strong work ethic and passion for kitchen work
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Able to complete tasks within the assigned time
Ability to connect with people from a variety of backgrounds
Passionate about the mission of 5N2
Ability to work independently, prioritize work and manage multiple priorities on deadline

Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds of products, supplies, and equipment
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, smell, and taste to determine integrity, freshness, and proper seasoning
Able to stand for long periods of time, make visual inspections, work in a tight, fast-paced environment

Achieve marketing targets through design of social media strategies
Manage٫ create and publish original٫ high quality content
Keep content on social media up-to-date
Collaborate and communicate with writers and designers to ensure content is appealing and informative for the reader
Collaborate with Marketing and Product development teams to create social ‘buzz’ regarding new program and fundraiser launches
Facilitate communication between the public and 5N2 by responding to queries٫ getting reviews٫ or organizing chats (and other methods)
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest means by which to optimize content
Communicate with industry professionals via social media to create a strong network
Train internal 5N2 staff on social media strategy in order to maintain a cohesive brand strategy across social media
Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices

Proven work experience as a Social Media Strategist or Social Media Manager
Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness
Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics and how to apply these
Ability to identify target audience preferences and produce content to meet these preferences
Familiarity with web design and publishing
Excellent written and verbal communication٫ and multitasking skills.
1-2 years experience in Marketing or relevant field
Effective communication skills and a professional attitude; ability to present to large groups
Ability to connect with people from a variety of backgrounds
Passionate about the mission of 5N2
Ability to work independently, prioritize work and manage multiple priorities on deadline
