“Food to me brings everybody together, so I love the idea of being a part of something where you’re providing a service that’s a basic necessity to people. Which is providing meals, and I love working in an atmosphere where everybody has a common purpose. I’m always amazed at Seema’s passion, commitment and energy that she puts into this place. I just love working with the people here because they’re all here for the good of providing services to the Scarborough community. There’s no egos, everybody just chips in and does what needs to be done to fulfill that.”

“It feeds my soul, it gives me a purpose that’s beyond myself. Volunteering here on the most basic level is doing work that provides food for those who don’t have, on the simplest level. It helps me fulfill goals that I have for myself with regard to serving other people. It fulfills some of my own desires and helps society as well.”
