Kitchen Work
If you love meeting new people, then this is your opportunity to connect with community members who could benefit from a conversation and a warm smile while working on various tasks in the kitchen.
Driving
We are in need of drivers who can help drop off pantry foods to our clients every Friday. If you enjoy being on the road, then this is the position for you! Drivers must have their full G license.
Gardening
Our summertime community garden helps us continue to feed those in need while fostering community. If you have a green thumb or love working outdoors, you will thrive in our garden.
Administration & Social Media
If working at a desk or engaging with community online sparks joy for you, then this opportunity might be a perfect fit! Not all of our volunteers need to serve on the front lines – online presence and administration are both equally as vital and valuable to our charity’s cause.

Meet Some of Our Volunteers
“Food to me brings everybody together, so I love the idea of being a part of something where you’re providing a service that’s a basic necessity to people. Which is providing meals, and I love working in an atmosphere where everybody has a common purpose. I’m always amazed at Seema’s passion, commitment and energy that she puts into this place. I just love working with the people here because they’re all here for the good of providing services to the Scarborough community. There’s no egos, everybody just chips in and does what needs to be done to fulfill that.”
“It feeds my soul, it gives me a purpose that’s beyond myself. Volunteering here on the most basic level is doing work that provides food for those who don’t have, on the simplest level. It helps me fulfill goals that I have for myself with regard to serving other people. It fulfills some of my own desires and helps society as well.”
