How To Donate With Interac e-Transfer
Please note that You and the recipient each need your own:
- Account with a participating bank or credit union
- Active email address or mobile phone number
To send, follow the easy-to-use instructions on screen:
- Log into your online or mobile banking app and select the account.
- Choose or add your recipient’s email or mobile number. (5n2’s donations or fundraising email account is email@example.com)
- Enter the amount and a security question (no need if the recipient has registered for Interac e-Transfer® Autodeposit).
That’s all. Just make sure you safely share the security answer with your recipient(5n2).
How to set up Interac e-Transfer Autodeposit:
1. Log into your online banking or mobile app.
2. Look for Autodeposit in the Interac e-Transfer section.
3. Register your email address and link the account.
4. Click “Complete Registration” in the confirmation email.
That’s it. You’re set up to enjoy the added security and ease of Autodeposit and you can manage it whenever you want in your settings.
